Cause and Detection


Klinefelter's Syndrome is a male with an extra X chromosome put how do you determine that you have it.Sometimes you can tell just by the symptoms but to be sure you do Karyotype. Karyotype is when DNA is extracted and the umber of chromosomes is counted to see if there is and extra X chromosome. Klinefelter's Syndrome is caused when there is an error in cell division with the sex chromosomes(XY). There is increase risked of your child getting Klinefelter's Syndrome the older you you are. the graph shows just genetic disorders but it also applies to Klinefelter's Syndrome.
